Despite finishing the 2017-2018 Premier League in 14th position with a total of 41 points, there were no Topps NOW Premier League 2017-2018 cards produced for Watford football club. The clubs best result of the season happened in October when a 2-1 victory over Arsenal was not enough to warrant a card being printed. Whether this was an oversight on the behalf of Topps (who may have thought the Premier League 2017-2018 season consisted of only 19 teams) or Topps employee with a grudge, it may never be known as to why Watford were forgotten or ignored for the Topps NOW 2017-2018 Premier League season. |
